Jisti can be used to accept payments from clients using Credit Cards. Once the payments are set up, you can easily accept payments from your clients during their session, or email them an invoice with a link to pay, before or after their session.
This article discusses what you will need to set up your Jisti account to accept online payments, and what it costs to use this feature.

Jisti uses the Stripe payments platform to accept and track online payments. For this, you can choose to link your existing Stripe account, or create a new Stripe account.
To get started, click on the user icon on the top right, and select the Settings option from the dropdown menu that appears.
In the settings page, select ‘Invoicing & Payments’.
To use online payments on Jisti, you have to use Jisti’s internal invoicing tool. In the Invoicing & Payments settings page, you need to select the ‘Use Invoicing’ option. Once selected, you would then be able to select ‘Use Stripe Payments’. Once this is also selected, you would have the ability to click on the ‘Link your Stripe Account’ button. You invoicing & payments settings page should look as below:
On clicking the ‘Link your Stripe Account’ button, you will be taken to the Stripe website, where you will be prompted to create a Stripe Account by providing your Business & Financial information.
Existing Account
If you already have an account, you can click on the ‘Sign In’ link on the top right.
You will be taken to the Stripe sign in page, where you can enter the email address and password to your existing account.
On logging in, you should see a screen where you are asked to authorize the Jisti Application to access your account data and create payments on your behalf. Click on the ‘Connect my Stripe account’ button to complete the process.
On clicking the button, you will be taken back to the Invoicing & Payments page on the Jisti application. Here you will see a green tick and a message saying that your Stripe account is successfully connected to Jisti. You don’t need click on the ‘Save’ button as these changes are saved automatically. You can now use Jisti for online payments.
New Account
If you don’t already have a Stripe Account, you must fill out the signup form comes up when you click the ‘Link your Stripe Account’ button.
You must fill out the above form, and then click the ‘Authorize access to this account’, after which you will be redirected back to the Invoicing & Payments page on the Jisti application. Here you will see a green tick and a message saying that your Stripe account is successfully connected to Jisti. You don’t need click on the ‘Save’ button as these changes are saved automatically. You can now use Jisti for online payments.
Please Note: You would need to perform a further verification step for your Stripe Account to verify your email.
What it Costs
There are no setup or monthly charges for creating a Stripe account. The only charge is on a per transaction basis. This charge depends on the type of account you set up.

Along with this fee, Jisti charges you 2% of the charge amount to manage the Stripe integration with the Jisti Application.
