The Jisti application has several fields in its database for tagging a session. In the course when the practitioner engages a customer for a session, these fields are set and updated according to what has transpired on the session.
Jisti categorizes sessions:
According to Service Status
According to Service Types
According to whether the Session was referred or not
These will be discussed in this article.
According to Service Status
In a Sessions form, clicking a dropdown in the Status field displays the Service Status which are defined in Settings.
The default value of Status is Scheduled. This will be updated by the practitioner for tracking purposes. Right after the session, it is advisable to set the Status to Performed. After thorough analysis then will the Status be set to Completed. He/she may decide later to create an invoice for the customer once the Status is set to Completed.
According to Service Types
Practitioners may have different types of services that they can offer to their customers - such as, Counseling, Diagnose, and Treatment – among others.
In a Sessions form, clicking a dropdown in the Type field displays the Service Types that are defined in Settings and those that were previously created in the Sessions form.
According to whether the Session was referred or not
Jisti records referrals for a session, if there is any. However, some practitioners does not give importance to it. The Jisti application is flexible - according to what the user wants.
This categorization will only take effect if Allow Referrals is checked in Business Settings.
If the Allow Referrals is checked, then in the Sessions form, an Add Referral button is displayed. The default is that the customer was not referred by anyone who has used or knows Jisti in the past. Perhaps, this customer is a walk-in customer.
If the customer was referred, then we click the Add Referral button.
Two additional fields are displayed. These are Referrer and the Ref. Date.
If the Allow Referrals is unchecked in the Business Settings, then in the Sessions form, the Add Referral button is not displayed. Some practitioner just don’t give importance to referrals in their business.
