Structure of the Jisti Guide
The Jisti Guide consists of Articles which are grouped according to the Hierarchical Structure:
Sections > Articles > Topics
An article is a page consisting of one or more topics. For articles that has two or more topics, the location of that topic in the article is accessible from the top or introductory part of an article by clicking on its hyperlink. For example, at the top portion of the How to use the Jisti Knowledge Base article are the list of topics where each topic in the list has a hyperlink.

There are two ways to search for an article, Using the Search Box and Drill down from the Categories.
- Using the Search Box
The fastest way to access the article for specific topic is to use the Search box in the Jisti Guide page. Suppose we want to locate the article that discusses how to sign-up. So, we input a keyword “sign-up” to the Search box, and press Enter.
Among several articles that match the search key “sign-up”, an article How to sign-up for a new Jisti account is one of these. It is apparent that this is the article that most likely discusses on how to “sign-up”. Click on its hyperlink to open the article.
Then the How to sign-up for a new Jisti account article is displayed.
- Drill down from the Categories
The drawback with the keyword search is that sometimes a keyword may match many articles that scanning for the appropriate article among that many articles in the list, may be quite overwhelming.
The Jisti Guide hierarchical structure logically arrange the articles so that related topics are grouped together - for a more guided drill-down. For example, to look for an article that will guide a user how to list the session statuses for a client, it is but quite logical to drill down from the Help Center, the path:
